Celeron 700 Vs Pentium

Hi i am a newbie to this group so excuse my amateurish questions In terms of performance how will Celeron 700 compare to Pentium III 600?
By performance i mean running apps like apache/tomcat. I dont intend to do any high end graphics?

defenitly go for the pentiumIII,
it's l2 cache memory will boost up any application, and it will defenitly run faster, especially when coming to high end graphics.
but for apps like apache or tomcat, i guess you won't have any big difference, but i still say the pIII is faster.
