Dual monitors minimising game

I have just set up dual monitors, and am having an issue when gaming. If I am in game, full screen or windowed, and move my mouse quickly towards the extended monitor and click, the mouse moves out of the game and onto my second monitor causing my game to minimise. This is rather annoying, and I cannot find any way of fixing this.. any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try doing Windows key (WIN) + P key (P). It should bring up the monitor setup and you can disable your secondary monitor. This may help with your mouse issue.

You can't lock the cursor to one window like you want. Although it's odd that the game minimizes, it should really just lose focus on the window but stay up.

But I also don't use dual monitors in any games so can't exactly say how they behave, just how normal applications act when you move the focus off them.

Well the problem is only in certain games, for example SC2 will contain the cursor within it, however on CS, if I aim quickly to the side and shoot the cursor deselects the game... which is rather irritating.

Can't do anything to fix that, it's how the game was written to control the mouse.

+1

Some games have mouse lock and some don't.
