Ok here's the deal I need a heatsink and fan but don't know what to get.
Here's my specs: - Asus p3v4x mobo
- Celeron 600@1008 socket 370 on a slot1
adapter card
- I'm using 3 dimm's (320megs)

I need someting that won't take away all my dimm slots, most HSF are to big.

And please nobody suggest orb's of any type I truly hate those think no offense to the people who use them I juste don't like them.

There's not realy a budget.

MBM5 gave me an alarm 2 days ago when I hit 71c. So I decided to tone it down to 900mhz and my temps on full load are about 52c and idle 31c. But I would like to go back to 1008mhz.

For a celeron, any of the following should bring down your temp:

Thermaltake Volcano II
Global Win Fop 32-1, Fop 32(this one is LOUD)
Noise Control Silverado

Your mouse moved. WINDOWS NT must restart for changes to take affect. Restart Now?[OK]

Good call. Just make sure you use good parts, you don't want to be frying your motherboard. You have seen Tom's article on building your own, right? (Some people haven't, I'm sure).
