No Sound in Windows 7

I instlled Windows 7. My sound (Intex Yamaha IT - 588) doesnot get detected in Windows. I tried evry trick like updating driver from manufactureres site / Windows 7 update. But No sound still persists...pls help

yeah.. when I googled that sound card, I got nothing back except people complaining about lack of driver support and how craptastic it is. Most of those were for Win-XP... I some how doubt Win7 is any better.
