err.....how do i overclock

heh i just read the guide to Overclock a Celeron......now i just want to know HOW to overclock...do i open up the the computer or what!?

Usually, FSB overclocking is done through the BIOs. Just set your FSB higher.

frist thing first we need to know what board you have and find out what ram you have also i mean the speed of the ram

get sisoft snaders ( doubt i spelt it right) you can get it form the free download section of cnet

it will tell you alot of information about your machine

did you buy it form a local store or form a big company like gateway and compaq

I doubt you can change your bus speed in BIOS. But you can still try to overclock. Well the best way to overclock is to LISTEN, LEARN, READ,and ASK! Most of all be gentle.

A dumb question is better than a dumby with a burnt out puter!

Be patient, and make sure you understand what you are doing.

Dont go at it like a bull at a gate either like me did.lol

i just went to that post........I AM SO CONFUSED!!! you gotta understand i am VERY NEW......do you bend the pin before you put the processor in??? AHHHH!!!!!!! i think i'll just take my computer to a local computer shop......do you think they will overclock it?

i doubt it go to intel and find a pin lay out map they should have one
