Cannot share my new printer

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax (More info?)

I've added a hp 3500 color laserjet and all work fine, but only for me.
When i want to share my printer, i can put all parameters (enable
sharing, write sharedname, etc) and, when apply, it apparently saves
changes fine.

But printer is not shared. I go to config page and printer has been go back
to "Not shared" state, but shared name has been changed. I cannot put the
printer in shared mode. Changes are silently ignored.

Sometimes i've received a message like "Cannot save changes..." when
apply, that point me to some permission problem, but sometimes (like now)
no message appear.

I'm running the installation as a domain administrator. My xp is in a W2000
server network with directory tree, and i can succefully share another
printer
attached to my paralell port (my new printer is attached at USB). I've
deleted
and physically desconected my another printer, but all same.

Any ideas? Where (i suppose that in registry) is writted the shared printer
information? And if i manually touch this registries entries?
