Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax (More info?)

 

I just installed XP and thought it would install my printer through "Plug and play", just like my earlier XP version did. It did not recognize the printer.
I tried to install it manually but the Wizard does not show the HP632 on the list of HP printers.
What do I do now?

Disconnect the printer from the computer. Download the drivers from the HP
web site
http://tinyurl.com/5xakd

Install the printer according to the instructions. Do _not_ attach the
printer to the computer until told to do so in the instructions.
