I own a P2 400mhz on an SiS Motherboard(5600, 5595). My main problem is that I can't find the jumpers on the motherboard. I found some motherboard information here and it said that the jumpers were accessed via the BIOS. Well i can change the multiplier, but it doesn't have any effect. Here is a link to the motherboard manual, jumper settings, etc. http://www.rise.com.tw/main/nr626.htm
Now the board presented on that page is not identical to my board but very similar. I have a built-in AGP card so the DIMM slots are not perpendicular with the PCI slots. Because of that, the jumpers are not to the right of the PCI slots. If possible can someone give me detailed instructions on how to overclock my CPU? I want to reach either 450-500mhz. Thank you for the help.

First off all P2 350 and higher chips are multiplyer locked. You can not change the multiplyer. So we are left to Front Side Bus overclocking.
I belive this might be your board. The link you gave is for a 66 mhz fsb board. It does not support the 100 mhz fsb setting for the P2 400.<A HREF="http://www.rise.com.tw/main/nr660.htm" target="_new">http://www.rise.com.tw/main/nr660.htm</A>

The bad news is that your can't overclock with that board. 100MHz is it's max FSB, and changing the FSB is the only way you can overclock that processor. The good news is that the BlasterPC from tigerdirect.com is the perfect upgrade and supports a 133MHz FSB.
