A7V Voltage modification

Hi,

I made the modification to my Asus A7v to get a higher core voltage. Strange thing is, that for each setting from 1,10 to 1,45V I get 2,08V in real, for 1,50->1,83V, 1,55->1,89V, 1,60->1,95V and 1,65->2,02V, from then on 2,08V again.
What could this be, anyone has the same problem? I'd like to have my 800MHz Duron run at 1,70V (I know, wouldn't have needed to mod the board ;)), now I have to run it at 1,83V since that is the lowest I can get. And the CPU goes to 61°C with this (WINFOP32 cooler).

I've been running my Duron at 1.91 volts for 7 months, necessary to get it to overclock to 1007mhz (up from 600).

You don't have to worry about 1.83 volts but 61 degrees is very high. What software are you using to monitor? There was a version of Asus Probe that was reporting temperatures about 10 degrees too high. I recommend Motherboard Monitor instead. What temps do you see in BIOS?
