I've already posted an issue on how to overclock intel mainboard, but the other problem that I have is the clock speed reported by every tool that diagnoses the pc, it says my cpu speed is 797 And the Processor is an Intel Pentium III 800 EB, and the Mainboard is Intel, And the ram are set in Cl 2, so I can't figure out why, and other nice thingy I would like to know is there a way to make a custom OEM logo for boot

Duh, Dunno what to say, all these technological stuff eat up my money, but I love them!

And your complaint is?
The clock crystal most motherboards use is something like 14.31MHz. It varies with the board. A 14.31818 crystal would give you 802MHz. You would not complain then, would you? But a different clock crystal will yield a different margin of error. So quit your whining, the CPU is fine, complain to the motherboard manufacturer Tell them to use clock crystalls that are exactly 33.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333MHz, so that you get a true 133.333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333MHz FSB, 66MHz AGP, and 33MHz PCI. See how far it gets you.

Thanks for the Help Crashman, but cannot it be another reason, cuz it's an Intel board, and I've doubt something with that reputation would bundle low quality crystals and stuff, I've should have buyed the ASUS!!!!!! Grrr

Just forget about it!! I garauntee you that you will never notice the difference with a +/- 3mhz CPU!!! I don't care what app you use, how you use it....whatever!!! You wont see no difference!!

Your mouse moved. WINDOWS NT must restart for changes to take affect. Restart Now?[OK]

The CUSL2 will give you a FASTER than normal reading! There are no perfect boards, they are designed with a certain crystal and set to aproximate the correct speed. The last 33+1/3 crystal I saw was on a 486, and that's the only speed that would be "perfect"

Might this be why my Duron 800 on A7A is being reported by SiSoft Sandra as 808Mhz and the PCI Bus frequency is too high.

Sounded more like a FSB of 101 Mhz, but BIOS is set to 8x 100Mhz and a 1:1 PCI:CPU ratio?

I'm not complaining, you understand, just interested ! :)
