I have my fax console setup to automatically receive
faxes after 2 rings. This seems to work. The problem is
the computer does not let a phone "voice" call go to my
telephone. Both the computer and telephone share the same
line.

If this is XP fax, XP fax does not support distingtive ring, it will answer
all calls. XP fax is just a very basic fax program.
