The trailer looks half decent, but the costumes are just WRONG!

Nite owl is supposed to be brown with gray tights and look a lot less like Batman than he does in the trailer.

Ozymandias wore gold and purple because they are regal colors. A visual indication of his disposition. Also, I felt he should look more uh, smarmy. Cheyenne Jackson would have made a better choice, or even Patrick Wilson for that matter.

Speaking of Patrick, Dan Drieberg, his character, is portrayed as having a more hawkish nose in the AWARD WINNING graphic novel. It fits in with his bird persona and his ethnicity. I am sure they could find a more hawk-nosed actor if they had tried.

The Edward Blake Character should look older and more craggy. Jeffrey Dean Morgan just looks too young and pretty. I dont know about his acting. Mel Gibson would be more appropriate in a lot of ways, but of course he would want more money and probably to direct.

When will Hollywood learn superheroes are about the costumes as much as anything else or probably more. You get the same drama out of other films except for the costumes and powers, so show the costumes CORRECTLY. Many hundreds of thousands of fans read comics or AWARD WINNING graphic novels. Each purchase is a vote that they got it right JUST AS IT WAS. There is no need to change it up for some hollywood buttholes ego.
