New Monitor...

In order to better help you can I suggest you rephrase your question to something like this. I would like to purchase a new 17 or 19" monitor, and my requirements are (answer the following questions).

My primary application is (Fill in the blank)
I plan to run (Fill in resolution and refresh rate)
I plan on using (one / two) computers attached to my new monitor
Warranty and customer service is (very, not so, could care less) important to me
If you call customer service after you purchase do you (want to sit on hold, Listen to Musac, Go through voice mail hell, Talk to a real person)
The horizontal damping wires on an aperture grill monitor (annoy me, could care less)
If I had to choose one (sharp text, more vivid colors) is more important to me
Does the place I plan to use the monitor have high ambient lighting? (yes / no)

I believe that the answers to these questions will better suit your needs and your ultimate happiness with the monitor you decide to purchase.
