New ink in printer...computer showing no ink..cannot print!

I can print when I scan something, but for some reason I have not been able
to print off of my screen on my computer. The screen comes up and in the ink
area it is blank, showing no ink. I have just put new ink in and I can print
as far as scanning something. Please help, not sure of how to fix problem.
