I have an Athlon 1GHz CPU, and I was wondering - is it possible to overclock the AMD to run at 133MHz instead of 100MHz? Or should I set the multiplyer to 13 instead fo 10 maybe?

Advices? Anyone know of a good AMD overclocking site?

Thanks for all your help!

An increased FSB gives better performance than an increased multiplier.

just make sure to set the fsb with the switches or however you do with the B to C athlon conversion... not the overclcocking as just upping the fsb in the bios would not neccessarily give you as stable a system as you would get otherwise...

you do not strengthen the weak by weakening the strong

not on a KT133 chipset, you'll only get to 133 FSB on a KT133A or DDR chipset.

You should get to 133FSB, but may need to lower your multiplier a tad and aim for 9*133 depending on your chip and your cooling. That would be a 20% cpu overclock and a 1/3 memory overclock.
