Ever since I installed DSL I cannot fax. I was able to
using Modem. I cannot install a phone filter due to wall
construction. Any suggestions?

They make phone filters that just plug into your wall phone jack. If you
can plug in a phone cord, you can plug in one of these. Unless, of course,
your phone line is hard-wired like in a hotel. You can probably get these
directly from your phone company or at Circuit City.

Sending a fax by DSL requires one of two methods:

1. You obtain a DSL line filter suitable for connecting a standard voice
telephone to the DSL line, then connect a regular analog fax modem to the
line through the line filter. Your DSL provider has these filters, as does
your local Radio Shack store:

2. You hire an Internet E-faxing service:
