How would using Registered Memory efect overclocking on the Abit KG-7?

I understand that REGISTERED memory is slower than unbuffered, because of the fact that it takes one clock cycle to buffer the memory. However, I plan to use it because the KG7 requires REGISTERED memory if you use more than two DIMM slots.

Some posts have indicated that the KG7 will take 4 unbuffered dimms but this is not offically supported by Abit or AMD.

only a tiny bit slower but i read a memory review, and registered RAM would not overclock far at all.
Sorry, i can't remember where thew review was.
