strange voltage-stuff on kt7-raid

he guys, couldn't get my 1200 to run properly, it crashed after 15 min. tried almost everything from voltage rising to other cooler and stuff. no chance. kept it running for some time at 1150 at 1,775v. what i found out now is, that the mobo doesn't apply the voltage 1:1, meaning, that the pc-health monitor showed 1,87v when soft-menu3 said 1,775v. after changing the voltage to 1,7v (pc-health shows 1,78v) it runs rock-stable at 1325mhz (it is one of the earliest athlon 1,2 ghz- steppings, so that it is quite ok).

is this usual, or is my mobo (*ç%"&"*)/weird?

In my KT7A-R, Via Hardware Monitor shows a voltage 0.5/0.6 V above the value set in SoftMenu3. But 1.0 V above is really strange.

Wow! That is a big difference.

My 600mhz Duron @1007mhz on a KT7 is set to 1.85 volts. The reading is 1.91 volts, only a 0.06 volt difference. I've often wondered if the sensor is correct.

My kt7aR also reads about 0.06V too high, not really a problem unless you are going WAY HIGH, atm I'm running 2V!!
