I need a good benchmark program?

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade some older mobos with the fastest cpu that they can handle. I will be testing a variety of socket 7 AMD cpu's. I am looking for a good program that will give me performance and temperature results for each cpu, can you suggest anything? Is the program free?

Theres loads of benchmarking software about, but a problem you might encounter on older boards is the temp measurement- not all boards - especially older ones have temp probes like todays boards.
