I have gone through troubleshooting and detailed
instruction on spooler related issues. Each time, I
receive dependency service or group failed or error 1068.
Someone please help.

The error means that some service that the spooler needs
to run is not being started before the spooler. My system
says that the Print Spooler needs the Remote Procedure
Call(RPC) service to run. Is this true for your system?

See if the information at
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm#LexmarkDriver helps
(this might apply to printers other than Lexmark printers).

The print spooler is always dependent on the RPC service. If there is a
problem with the RPC service, a lot of things on your computer won't work,
not just the print spooler.

The issue you are having is most likely associated with something other than
the RPC service.

It's perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.
