I have a 366 celeron in a Aopen AX6bc using socket 370 to slot1 adapter and I think it's about time to overclock it. 550Mhz is the target but I can't get windows to finish booting.
I believe I need to up the core voltage but am unsure of what to? also I make the assumtion that I'll be able to get my hands on an adapter that allows manual voltage setting as the one I'm using at the moment doesn't. Any advise on this would be appreciated. spare no detail.

a related question:
Is my celeron based on pentium II or III core, how can I get detailed information without the bother of cpu markings.

thanks

I have C366 oced to 566@103 , 2.05V, Vulcano II . It worked on 550 at standard voltage, standard cooler. It depends on luck...

That celeron "based" on pentium 2.
