SduaneS seems to have brought back interest in bridge oc'ing. My question is... what happens if you try to use a setting and it fails? Is your cpu (with modified bridges) now rendered a nice little paper weight? With multiplier and FSB oc'ing you just set things back. But with the bridge method it is permanent, correct? Anyone ever try this and screw up?

Just try it with a pencil, and if you fail, erase and try again. I have set the multiplier using the L1 and L6 bridges. You may also be able to raise the voltage with the L7 bridges. The easiest one to set is the 1.4, as all the L6 bridges are open (10.5 default multiplier setting), letting you choose any multiplier setting you desire.
