Hey guys. just want to start off saying this is my first post on the forums and hope to have many more great experiences on the site
Now for what i came here to ask, i have been researching the new line of mobile apu's that amd has put out and i am set on getting a laptop with a A8 3500m. Also i am a gamer who wont wine about have some eye candy taken out of a game to make it playable.
With this apu, it comes with a built in gpu dubed the " Readeon HD 6620g" i found out that this is basically a Readon HD 6500M. Then i found out that 6500M has about the same performance of a Redeon HD 5570 dedicated desktop gpu.
SO, do you guys think a 5570 with 6 gigs of ddr3 and a quad core processor clocked at 1.5 for each core but can overclock 2 cores to 2.4 play battlefield 3 with at least 30fps on low-medium settings? Thanks
Sir, the recomended settings for battlefield ( i read this somehere i think) about about on lo- medium, and the recommended graphics card is from the 6000 series, with this in mind, i would say that from reading alot on the recent apu's/ cpu's from amd, i think you would probably want to go with something stronger, you may be able to get 25 fps at lowest settings, just taking at stab at it though, what resolution do you want to get? That really makes a HUGE difference when gaming
Hmm very nice, and he does show the stats hes using, medium everything except shadows which are on low, hes also on 1280x720p which is good. Ill basically be playing around the same quality as the 360's port, not bad for a inter-graded gpu. Knowing this, i can also feel confident i can play TF2 on pretty high settings and still get a decent frame rate if it uses multiple cores. Wow shouldn't be a issue ether.
