I have installed an HP PSC 1200 series printer. Windows acknowledge that this
printer is connected and has loaded all the necessary drivers. I have also
updated the drivers from the CD ROM that came with the printer. However, I
am unable to print either from a program or the DOS prompt. What can I do to
resovle this problem? I have deleted the ports, rebooted the computer which
then reloaded the ports and well as following the troubleshooter and nothing
seems to work. I can print the diagnostic page from the printer itself, but
cannot get any result from print commands from the computer. Help please.
Thanks
Ensure you install the software BEFORE connecting the printer to the PC.
