When trying to install HP Photosmart 7760 printer using the New
Hardware Wizard I receive a message stating 'Installation Cancelled.
Cannot find file specified.' It does not give me the name of the file.
I have the installation CD from HP in the cd-rom drive at the time. HP
says it is a file on my hard drive that is missing. How do I find out
what file is missing so I can restore it from my XP cd that came with
the computer?

Mike,

Having the same problem. Had everything up and running on my old
computer, but now I have a new one, installed WinXP Pro SP1, upgraded
to SP2, and then tried to run the HP install software. Getting the same
error you do. In my case, the window title does mention two files:
C:\temp\photosmart\Setup\hpzprl01.exe -l ENU -f C:\WINDOWS\HPHins02.dat
-Validate no -w 262974

but both files are present so it must be some DLL that is missing.
