Hi!
First of all, I’m sorry for my english.(I prefer german):)
I'm currently using an Asus A7V 1.02. rev mb.
The highest multiplier what I get by dip switches seems to be 12.5x and I need 13,5 or 14 for the new processor.
Does anyone know an unpublic :) settings for the higher multiplier ? (13, 13,5, 14...)

Thanx.

i think that 5 is actually 14. also what is the FSB on your 1.4 procesor?, as your motherboard will only do 100/200DDR and will be lucky to get it past 118/236DDR overclocked. maybe get a new mother board.
hope this helps

Although it has a lot of good ideas, beer doesn't know anything about computers!!!

Thanks. I dont want to get a new mb now.
I have no problem :)
I found this at amdmb.com :

http://www.asuscom.de/de/support/techmain/faq/mobo_cpu/faq085_CPU_Upgrade_II.htm
Die Multiplikatoreinstellung 13,0x ist mit der Multiplikatoreinstellung 12,5x identisch.
Die Multiplikatoreinstellung 14,0x ist mit der Multiplikatoreinstellung 5,0x identisch.

„I know of the multiplier remap of the Athlon Bs (12.5x to 13x and 5x to 14x)”

„set your board to jumperless mode, go into bios select multiplier 5x and this should be remapped by the 1008 bios to give a multiplier of 14 and hopefully your cpu will now show 1400mhz.
good luck”

„Yes the new 1008 bios will remap the 5x multiplier to 14x in jumper mode.”
