Overclocking PII's & the L2 Cache

Hi guys ,
I'm currently running a PII 400Mhz @ 496Mhz/124MhzFSB.

I'm extremely tempted to increase FSB to 133Mhz but that would mean that my L2 cache will not function reliably , So
what I plan on doing is to disable the L2 cache and then try for this higher speed hence my question........

would I see any significant increase in performance or is this a bad tradeoff.

thanks :0

First are you actively cooling the L2 cache chips? Most Heat spreaders(intels term) on the p2 did not touch the l2 cache chips, only the cpu die.I use a copper plate between the chips and spreader. or break it down so it looks like a celeron by removing the plastic casing and heat spreader. Then mount your heatsink directly on the chips.
You can also increase the latency timings with a program fromhttp://www.h-oda.comcalled wcpul2.Kind of like setting your memory timings.

I aint signing nothing!!!
