i am using a 2010 macbook pro lion and using parralels to run xp/7/98. the problem is that after the installation is complete and i try to run the game i get an error: gta iv fatal error dd3d30. i looked up what this is and it is a video related error i tried all the resolutions and reinstalling the game and updating the drivers. these are the specs of my mac:

os x lion
4 gigs of memory/2 for virtual machine
intel core i5
500 gig hd
1 gig video memory

any help would be greatly appreciated

1. Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking ‘Run programs made for previous versions of windows’.

2. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

It might not all be windows 7's fault either. Right click on the desktop. Then click on screen resolution. Then click on "Make text and other items larger or smaller" and make sure it is on 100% (smallest). If that doesn't work, change the resolution down to 800x600. If it still doesn't work, click on "Advanced settings" then click on the "Monitor" tab. Change the colors from True Color (32 bit) to High color (16 bit).
