How far to overclock

I have a athlon runnning at 1.4, is it possible to go up to 1.7 with no problems. I have a orb fan instead of the ones that come in the box. Some feedback would be thank

What's teh batch code? Probably not though, what temp are u currently running at?

im at 1656 at the moment 12* 138fsb on a water cooled rig
still think theres more to come !!!!
temps not a problem yet 35c at full load for 2 hours

U definelty can handle more, go to 1700 or 1750 at least.

What infulence do the different batch codes have on how you can overclock a chip? I recently bought 2 Athlons 1.4GHz only to find out my mobos suck and don't really support overclocking. So I'm going to buy a better mobo but I was wondering if the batch codes influence it that much before I move on. Thanks for your help.
