Bf3 network lag

I'm experience some massive lag spikes while playing bf3 online. I know it's not a problem with my hardware, because it runs at a smooth 40-50 fps on my settings all the time. It's the classic "run up some stairs, teleport back to the bottom" or even worse "shoot the guy 3 times point blank and miss every time" kind of lag. My connection is pretty decent, andf I was specifically playing on a low ping server to avoid this kind of issue. is there any network optimization I can do to fix this, or am I SOL?

He already posted that his speed was decent... I would check to make sure PunkBuster is up to date as well as your video card drivers. I have been having some issues as well I am starting to think they dropped the ball with the premium. Do you have premium? I do not because if I spend the extra for the expansion I want to know that it will play smooth.... Their patch system really needs work too the latest one has some major issues.
