Installed new printer, printing, got msg paper jam, open front...complied.
Still not printing. What does it mean when printer is offline? Is this the
problem? All jobs remain in qeue not printed. Pressed start
button...nothing

With the Canon MF5550 when your printer is offline that normally means
you need to unplug it, wait a few secs, and plug it back in.
Restarting your computer is often ineffectual for this printer. It's
also faster because you dont have to wait for a reboot.
