I am buying a new gaming PC, and I wanted to know if these specs are good for running BF3, or just games generally at ultra settings. Also, if there is something bad about these specs then please tell me. Like if the processor is too weak, or if I need more RAM... (I'm not that great with computers, sorry.) :)

yes with fps to spare... if your gonna overclock down the line get the older 2500k as it is easier to overclock and doesnt have the heat isses the new ivy cpu's do 1s you get over 4.2
if your not gonna oc ever or just mild oc then yeah your cpu is fine, in fact thats a very nice system that will play any game easily...

Okay, thank you. I do not think I am planning on overclocking.

Not planning on overclocking ?
Once you go 2500k you will want to
If you dont.mind high.temps then go 3570 but the slight, and I mean slight increase in speed is totally negated by the ease in overclocking the 2500k has as well as.the lower temps for higher clocks.

Easily. I have a 3GB 580 with a first gen i7 860 (overclocked to 4GHz) which runs ultra quite well and your system is significantly better than mine so you shouldn't have any issues.
