RPM doesn't matter as much as the heatsink. Chrome Orbs suck major donkey ass. My suggestion?
Take a look Here and get either the Volcano 6u for $10 ($10 of which is donated to the Red Cross), or the Alpha PAL8045 for $40 if you want the absolute best heatsink on the market right now.

"Chrome Orbs suck major donkey ass"

Dude, there's no reason to get all technical.
But that looks like a really good deal on the Volcano...

Sorry, did I go over your head? Maybe I should've left out the "donkey" :)

It is a good deal though, they're usually $20 or so. I'm thinking of getting one for myself. I wouldn't mind having a quiet computer again :(

Well, as I read on the back of this guy's helmet who was on a LOUD motorcycle, "If you can't stand the noise, then you are too old." I like the noise from teh fans in my Athlon computer- drowns out the other noises of my brothers screaming while I sleep:)

U got a problem?! Then dial 1800-328-7448!
