Played it and wasnt impressed with the pc version all the great additions are there but somehow it feels a little too much like 2003. Dont get me wrong the fun is still there. The system requirements is just a little too demanding. Anyone get the feeling of the game being recycled? Maybe i havent been playing the game too much.

There's really not anything revolutionary that you can add to a sports game. The goal behind all of the Madden games is to get as close to a real football game, without having to buy a ticket. Once that level of realism is achieved, where else can it go?

And it's also written in DirectX 9.0

You'll be able to run it fine in your system.

I feel the same way on about every EA Sports series(NHL 2003, FIFA 2003 ...). The only difference are the graphics and the roosters of the teams. For me, so little difference is not worth the 50$.

Just Like NBA Live:
The changes made in 1999 - 2000 is good.
But from 2000 - 2001 - 2002 - 2003,
very few changes per year.

It would be great if the developpers could publish a patch to set the right team rooster at the beginning of each season for older version of the game. For example, if you have NHL 2002, then there would be a patch next year to update all the rooster so that they would match next year.

It would have to be a 3rd pary patch. Because what incentive would EA have to do that? None. They want us to buy EVERY new edition of the series and if they were making patches for older versions, that would lose them sales.

You're right, but the patch would be hell to create. That's why, I think, there are no such patch.

COOL!!!!
I better check out some of those newer EA sports games with roosters. Imagine chickens with helmets and pads battling on the football field. Now THAT would be a sight to see!

Disregard my previous post.

Why do people always insist on insulting drug dealers by comparing them to Microsoft?
Drug dealers offer real products with real choice.
