Athlon 1.4 fan direction

I've never given much thought to the fans blowing air onto or pulling air away from my CPU. I just got a Athlon 1.4 & I bought 2 squirel cage fans to mount on the heat sink & I was wondering if it's better to have air blowing into the heat sink or pulling the hot air away? Thanks

Blowing air at the heatsink/cpu is more efficient.

AKA - it will run a few degrees cooler that way.
