Hi everyone,
I have a home build that's been working fine for almost a year now, but I just got Civilization V and it periodically crashes my computer. The game will just freeze and go to a black screen, so I ctrl-alt-del to the task manager and I get a popup window saying:
"FGXRender11:: Present Failure hr = DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. Driver Failure"
I click "ok" (it's the only option in the popup), and another window pops up telling me that Civ 5 has stopped working, hit "ok" again, and I get a BSOD.
Does anybody know what's causing this, or have a driver update that could solve it?
My DirectX11 is up to date, my GPU drivers are up to date, and my BIOS is up to date. I do have my CPU overclocked, but it passed a 24 hour stress test and it's been stable for the past 6 months.
Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!
