Hello,
I am unable to change my administrator name, I think somebody is deleting some of my information from my computer. How can I find out out if this is true

Check your logs in Event Viewer for log-in and log-out times. That will tell you if someone is logging on your computer when you aren't there. (That is, if you are logging out/powering down when you aren't at your desk.)

Is this two separate issues you are having or do you find them related?

How are you trying to rename the administrator account?

What kind of information do you suspect someone is deleting? Is it files that are missing or information inside documents or e-mail that is lost?

Hello There,

Here's a tutorial that will walk you through changing the name of the built-in administrator account - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/7417-built-adminis...

Or, you may just want to change your password by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Change a password. You'll need to type your old password, type your new password, type your new password again to confirm it.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
