How to delete the files in Windows 7

Hi I have got my new computer and I have my old hard disk which has few files which are showed as locked and when I try to delete those files it says you need permission from admin Pc to make changes to this folder. What should I do?

  1. Users are identified via a unique number. The access control list on your old HD references a different ID than the ID in your current Windows install.

    You need to change the security settings on your old HD to let you take ownership of those files.

    I use Win7 Ult, so I have more NTFS settings than just pro/etc. I'm not sure which options you have to do this.
