I have a ga-5aa w/ a k62 500@550mhz @ 100mhzFSB. i got it to 600 @ 105mhzFSB but it would always reboot. both were at 2.4V. so i lowered the FSB back to 100mhz then it was 550 again. if i higher the voltage will it let OC to 600@105mhzFSB?

Probably. 105 FSB isn't that much of an FSB overclock so more voltage should fix the limitation.

how did you get 600 MHz with just increasing the FSB? you can get 6x multiplier when you set it to two, so at a 100 MHz FSB you can have a 600 MHz processor. you might need to increase the voltage a bit, 2.4V seems good enough.

But wit that increase in voltage you also need to cool the processor better. increased voltage increases power consumption that in turn increase the heat generated, leasding to unstable system or a system that simply doesnt boot!

strange, maybe you had set the FSB to 109 or something!
