motherboard details

I can't find the details (oem id) of my motherboard. Its not visible on the board itself. Can I find it out via software/Bios? I'm running the latest Linux os.

I'm not sure if this program will run on the Linux platform, but SiSoft Sandra would normally give you some information.

cpuid may also give it you, or how about looking for the bios string on boot up and searching for it?
