Can I run Battlefield 3 on Ultra?

depends on res, if on ultra, then certainly high.

1920/1080 your looking at high for single player medium for multiplayer @60fps

I had a HD 6950 until recently. You won't be able to play on full ultra as it will not cope with full AA. It will run high comfortably though which is still great. I recently upraded to a GTX 670 to run it on ultra and I would say the difference between high and ultra is minimal.
