no need for such a massive psu. a 850w will do sli a 600w will cover a single card. especially as your going for a quality brand.
also the cooler is overkill there are plenty of alternatives that are just as good but cost half as much. better to put the money you save from a reduced cost psu and cooler into a decent ssd...
it would be a nice build but that swifttech isnt for the novice and only really comes into its own if you link in and water cool the gfx as well.
oh and yes it will run bf3 single player at ultra @70+ fps but multiplayer your looking at 55-80 minimum depending on the maps and number of players...
sorry to say there isnt a single gpu card currently available that will give 60 fps minimum @1920/1080x4msaa on every map. you will have to wait for the 770 for that to happen.

there was 1 for $210 for 860w and this was like $10 more for 200 more watt. Also what a decent water cooler that cheaper?

To the OP:
Like HEXiT said, it'll run BF3 on ultra. My rig is pulling a good 60-65+ average (single player) and that's with an older CPU (though at the same speed). Your setup should definitely achieve similar results, if not more.

@Brett:
Care to explain why you feel the OP's rig won't manage 60+?? Simply answering in mono-syllables doesn't become much help. Do share your views on the "no".

A 670 is faster than my two 5850s, and I average around 74 on Ultra (2xMSAA) so, yeah. No worries there. My only issue is I have 1gb of VRAM which, when maxed, causes occasional stutter. A 2gb card will not have that issue, so it will be fine.

It will run ultra well, but fall just short of 60 fps.

As another poster has said get an SSD. It will make a real difference. 60gb for windows and bf3 would do it, but if you can afford more a 120gb or 240gb would be ideal.

I use up about 55gb for Windows without any games installed on it...

Also, it will not be "just short of 60 fps". Where do you get this?

Hexit was right, as usual. 70-80 fps generally, but depends on maps. Some of those Back to Karkand maps are pretty demanding, I get about 10-20fps less. The vanilla MP maps though, they run great. I wonder if they forgot to do some optimizations on the BtK stuff.

I think game will work very good. But I don't know what to say about fps. I think 60 is too much.

Hi :)

The answer is CORRECT...whether I use 1 word or 1000....

He asked , I answered, I only have so much time to spend helping here, so the silly questions get a short answer....

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

The short answer is...his graphics card is NOT man enough...

The long answer is...with that card he is NOT GOING TO RUN BF3 ON ULTRA with everything turned on...

Sorry, but that is completely false. Show us some benchmarks, because Tom's clearly shows over 70fps at Ultra, 1080p, 16AF, 4xMSAA.

MP mostly takes a framerate hit if the CPU is not adequet, but obviously a 3570k is. And my own personal experience (and yes I log my FPS at all times) averages OVER 70 with a pair of 1gb 5850s OCed to 5870 levels, which in most benchmarks are slower than or equal to a single 580 (rarely but sometimes faster), and a 670 is faster than that.

And here:

I also have a gtx670 with a 2700K and will generally average a little under 60 fps.

Oops..... looking at the anandtech one again it is 62fps. Either way They are both around 60 fps on a single player map. For me this means I get just under 60 fps on average on a multiplayer map
