Tekkit server not wokring.

Hey guys,
This' probably a pretty n00by question, but here it is.
So, I'm trying to host a Tekkit and Bukkit server for me and my friends, Bukkit works fine, Tekkit, on the other hand, seems to, but noone can connect; it just says 'Can't reach server'. I'm fine using localhost.

Have you already set up port forwarding?

If you don't want to port forward, you can set up a hamachi server.

I have port-forwarded. And my friends don't want to use Hamachi.
