Hey, so I just upgraded my PSU + video card from a 500 watt non-name brand PSU and a GT 520 to a Antec 550Watt PSU and a GTX 560

This morning I was playing Battlefield 3 perfectly fine with around 60-110 fps lowest settings 1920x1080

But then I took a break and when I got back on I noticed my frames were dropping.
at once it was at like 10-20fps, so I restarted my computer then it went back to normal
Then 10 minutes later my frames were at around 40-60

This isn't just Battlefield 3, it's also on CoD4,MW2,and TF2

My GPU's temperature was at 66c and were not going higher
My CPU's temperature was at 50c and were not going higher

Specs:
GTX 560
AMD FX-4100 3.6ghz
1TB Hard Drive
8GB of Ram

Thanks

which graphics drivers are you using? have you tried running older versions. I hear the new 301.42 driver can have issues with dropping the core clocks, so that might be a good thing to try.

another thing is run MSI afterburner, make sure you check the graphs and take note of the core clocks, which is the main one to affect FPS, it should be 800+

I am using the 301.42 drivers

And I look at the core clocks on MSI afterburner and they are higher then 800
