Printer not clearing documents

I too have a problem with my printer not clearing documents. If I try to
print a document (from any source), the printer physically produces the
print, but the printer shows only 99% complete. The printer queue then shows
that the document's status is "deleting", but it never goes away, and it
can't be cancelled off, even with "cancel all documents". Nothing else will
then print, they all just queue up, waiting for the 1st document to finish,
which of course, it's already done, but the system doesn't realise it. The
only way to clear it, is to re-boot the whole system after EVERY document,
which is obviously not good. The printer is a Lexmark X1150, but, by the
sounds of the other comments here, it is an XP Home problem! Help!
