Intel processors are multiplier locked, so all you can do is to increase the FSB. if your board allows you can increase it to 110~112 to get the core speed around 500, you might even go past it.

Your board should have some jumpers to set the speed, look for them.

like girish said...
you will probably only be able to up the fsb....but you will see the most improvement in performance by doing this.
especially if you can get it over 100....
the p2 had the 66mhz fsb right?
so if it did, and you can get the fsb up to even 100, it will make a difference.

sorry but originaly the fsb is 100 and so 100*4,5=450Mhz
so I have to set it to 112 to get 112*4,5=504Mhz
but when I do that I get an error:
explorer%&//(%(%¤!#¤"¤&/?)(&¤# and so on
but I can get the fsb to 103 (103*4.5=463,5Mhz)
and then the temperature is only 32C so it can´t be that
so anyone have a tip or a link for how to get it to work at
the fsb set to 112 ?

well, probabely this is all you can go. the heat is not the only factor that limits the overclocking, you could go a bit higehr by increasing the core voltage but your board may not support it.

what make is the board?

You have to raise the core voltage and have proper cooling. there were some HUGE PII coolers made for the old Slot A Athlon (same attachment design) and they're still on the market. 2.2v seems to be a good voltage for overclocking, you may even be able to reach 600MHz (133FSB).

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
