oc amd 1ghz how?

amd 1ghz 266mhz bus
asus a7v133 (via apollo kt133 a chipset)
768 pc133 mem
what do i need to do to OC?
do i up the bus-multi-volts?

your CPU bus already runs at 133 MHz (266 DDR) so increasing the FSB is pretty difficult, try running it at 140 MHz or so, your PC133 memory probably wont go past that, get a PC150 or better RAM. At 140 MHz FSB, your processor will run at 1050 MHz, no too great but a good thing for a start.

Now you will need to change the multiplier, for which you need to unlock the processor. You can find a lot of info on unlocking Athlon processors on tomshardware, anandtech etc. see <A HREF="http://www.athlonoc.com" target="_new">http://www.athlonoc.com</A> for how much you can overclock.
