I have OC'd my 1GB Athlon AXIA to 1333 by changing the FSB to 133. I have tried to push it more my changing the multiplier on the bios but wont change the actual speed. (Abit KT7 Raid MB). The setup is stable and I am happy with the performance of it. I am using a coolermaster heatsink, (coolermaster rate it at 1.7gb) and the temps averaging 30c degrees with normal office 2000 usage and going up to maximum of 47c degrees when buring a CD at 20x on my Acer. Are these temps ok or too high?

THanks!

your temps are fine, though i do suggest you also do a CPU burn in for a couple of hours, just to be sure.

try seti@home, prime95, sandra or toast.

an extra 333Mhz... pretty sweet overcock man.

Excuse me for a moment. I need to drive my ergonomic wheely chair over a sheet of bubble wrap!
