My buddy gave me a "C" class Athlon 266 Fsb for free. Unfortunetly I have a Gigabyte 7zm micro atx mobo that does not allow you to change the multiplier and it does not run when the fsb is set to 133. Is there any way around this? Right now the chip runs at 750 Mhz. Can I damage the processor by running it like this? Will it perform better than my Duron 700 did?
Thanks for all the info

You can't damage the chip with that. Maybe if you update your BIOS it will work.
And yes it will be faster then your Duron.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .
