This month VZW introduced 5 or 6 new phones, none of which make me want
to get rid of my V60i. I use my phone strictly for talking, and the RF
performance of my V60i is plenty good enough for me.

Does anyone have any knowledge of any other planned phone
introductions?

I want a bluetooth phone for an Acura TL and Audi A6 (I don't like the
large size of the Moto 710 - too big and uncomfortable to carry in my
pocket). I don't care that the bluetooth is crippled; like I said, I
use cell phones strictly for talking. Don't care about cameras,
computers, GIN, or anything else - just talking. But I want a phone to
synch with the audio system of my car.

If not, is there any way to use accessories to make the V60i (or any
other small phone with good reception) work through the car's audio
system? If so, how? What phone?

I am stuck with Verizon. Everyone in my family and all my friends use
Verizon, so I need to stick with the company because of the in-network
calling.

Anyone know anything?

I bought a little adaptor with a switch button and a little antenna a while
back. You'd tune your car radio to 88.9 or something, and when you turned
the adaptor on it broadcast through your car stereo. The adaptor has a jack
to plug in a mobile microphone. I got tired of using it, like most gadgets,
but it did work. Would something like that do it for you? If so, I can dig
it out and get the name off of it.

One word... T608. I love mine, and I wish I had an acura to use it
with ;-) I just came across a couple and am about to post information
on how you can get one, but will start a new thread, because I have had
inquiries from other frequent visitors to this newsgroup.

And the phones that say "Verizon" may not be sold for another year, if ever!
I have depressed myself many times at PhoneScoop. :(

In the world of cell phones, release dates mean nothing.

You'll see 'em when you see 'em.

Get a Motorola DC600 Bluetooth Wireless Adapter. It will work on your
v60i.

This will work allow the phone to work through the car's audio system
without any additional wiring (i.e., function like a 710)?

Thanks in advance for your advice. Jeff

Yes. It will also allow everyone else to hear your phone calls (within
some small range).
